Mission of the Role:

The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms.

Essential Job Functions:

* Cleans and returns vacant dirty rooms to a clean status. Cleaning includes: light fixtures, ceilings and vents, walls, furniture, windows and window coverings, floors and carpets, changing linens and replenishing amenities.

* Stay over service to be completed for all rooms daily.

* Keep cart stocked and organized.

* Assist with special cleaning projects and with laundry as needed.

* Communicate maintenance needs.

* Ability to interact with guests in a friendly, courteous and helpful manner. Report any guest complaints to a supervisor immediately.

* The timely report of and return of lost and found items for processing.

* Follow all key control procedures.

* Performs all other duties as deemed necessary by management.

Qualifications

Requirements:

* Able to carry and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

* Attention to detail.

* Must be able to bend, twist, lift and stand for the duration of the shift.
