MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY, INCLUDING WEEKENDS AND EVENINGS.Position Summary: Maintain clean guest rooms, hallways, closets, vans and overall storage areas of housekeeping supplies. Position Duties/Responsibilities:
- Clean rooms and guest hallways per Standards of Operation, both quality and quantity to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Report all room and guest hallway maintenance problems to housekeeping office to ensure guest safety and comfortable stay via work orders.
- Report van maintenance and accidents to Housekeeping Leads and Supervisors.
- Keep work area clean and use proper cleaning techniques to ensure safety of self and others.
- Properly use supplies to minimize waste.
- Read all posted material on Housekeeping bulletin board to know what is going on in the resort.
- Attend line-ups, wear proper uniform and promotional bulletin.
- Call guests by name and attend to any special request while serving the guests' rooms.
- Has courtesy and respect for fellow associates and report any problems that may arise because of fellow associates to Housekeeping Leads or Supervisors.
Professional Experience: Prefer a minimum of 6 months of experience as a room attendant/housekeeper, preferably in a hotel/resort setting. Education: High school diploma or equivalency, preferred. Required Skills: No required skills. - Work is performed both indoors and outdoors.
- This position must frequently lift and/or move up to 25-50 pounds.
