  • Insurescustomer satisfaction by cleaning customer rooms daily according to operationalpolicies and standards
  • Removessoiled bed and bath linens and replaces with clean linens as required
  • Removesaccumulated trash and debris from room as required
  • Cleansbathroom area, dusts all surfaces and vacuums room as required
  • Replenishes promotional materials and literature and room amenities
  • Reportsmaintenance requests and replacement orders
  • Turns inarticles left in rooms to Housekeeping office for Lost and Found handling
  • Leaves allcustomer belongings in stay over rooms unless they have been discarded in thetrash
  • Maximizesjob efficiency and neat, orderly appearance by maintaining well-stocked andclean supply cart and linen closet
  • Maintains vacuumcleaner by replacing and/or emptying bag daily, cleaning and placing accordingto S.O.P.'s
  • NotifiesHousekeeping Department immediately if any stock shortages exist
  • Pulls anydamaged or rewash linen and returns them to the Housekeeping Department
  • Insuressafety and security by securing the locks on linen closets and linen chutedoors
  • Reports all Do Not Disturb or bolted door rooms to Housekeeping department asrequired
  • Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of allproblems or unusual matters of significance
Other duties may be assigned as neededPhysical Demands & Work Environment Whileperforming the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand;walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk orhear and taste or smell. The employee is frequently required to climb orbalance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, as well as frequently liftingand/or moving up to 50 pounds. Theemployee must also be able to go up and down a flight of stairs while carrying50 pounds. The employee is sometimesexposed to outside weather conditions and the noise level in the workenvironment is usually moderate.
