Overview:
Responsible for monitoring and recording physiologic data of patients during sleep
Responsibilities:
- Ability to perform overnight sleep studies with knowledge of hookups, transfer of data, paperwork process
- Must be proficient with CPAP and BiPap machines
- Knowledgeable of Oxygen safety
- Must be knowledgeable of current testing guidelines
- Ability to perform BLS, recognize and correct any tracing artifacts and have the ability to recognize and initiate treatment when needed.
- Ability to provide basic orientation to patients on night of study and capable of operating Educational device
- Must be capable of properly fitting patients for masks
- Responsible for getting required signatures on paperwork to include any needed ABN forms
- Knowledgeable on proper cleaning of all sleep equipment
- Proficient in current sleep diagnostic program
- To obtain and remain proficient in scoring techniques

Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification:
Must have passed the BRPT examination or be board eligible and continually follow BRPT code of ethics
Must be RPSGT certified
Maintain current BLS certification
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must obtain 10 Sleep related CEUs annually and provide copies of certificates to the Director
Must be able to read, speak, write and understand English
