Acuren is currently looking for qualified RT Level II Technicians to support our customers in Lima, OH area.This is a fulltime embedded role with guaranteed 40 hours/week. Relocation assitance and up to $5000.00 Sign-On Bonus, along with 30 days per diem available to qualified candidates!Responsibilities
- Actively participate in Acuren and Client safety programs
- Control the radiation area
- Set up and utilize nondestructive testing equipment
- Calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
- Conduct Radiographic tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects)
- Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
- Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
- Interpret radiographs
- Organize and report test results
- Fill out daily radiation reports
- May perform specialized inspections
- May instruct and supervise others
- Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management
Requirements
- Certified Level II RT
- Level II MT, PT, UTT, and VT would be considered an asset
- Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
- Knowledge of NDT equipment
- Per client requirements you must pass a hair follicle going back 90-120 days, along with periodic random testing.
