Responsibilities
- Examine, troubleshoot, and diagnose units needing repair and maintenance
- Perform unit repairs, install parts, or overhaul recreational vehicles including travel trailers
- Perform pre-delivery inspections, reading and/or writing repair orders
- Install, repair, replace, and maintain roofs, siding, windows, doors, vents, awnings, floor coverings, cabinets, counters, electrical appliances, plumbing systems, electrical systems, propane gas systems, batteries and charging systems
- Use manuals to perform repairs and maintenance in accordance with company standards
- Document work performed including diagnosis, cause, and correction in sufficient detail
Qualifications
- 2 years or more of service technician experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with construction, electrical, hitch work, and brake controls
- Ability to work inside or outside in a non-climate controlled environment
- Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
- Strong communication skills and basic computer skills
- Ability to use all necessary tools to perform job duties
- Valid driver license with clean driving record
- Willing to consent to background check and drug screen prior to employment
