My client is a growing materials and design company, offering innovative technology and products. They are PE backed, and hoping to double in size in the next 2-3 years.

Description

  • Chair cross-functional S&OP meetings to coordinate stakeholders on demand forecasts, inventory goals, and production schedules.
  • Refine inventory goals using ABC analysis to improve efficiency, service levels, and optimize capital investments.
  • Monitor and report S&OP metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance supply chain performance.
  • Work with Supply Chain teams to address long-term supply constraints and ensure a unified S&OP strategy.
  • Present complex analysis and reports to stakeholders, integrating S&OP insights into decision-making.
  • Evaluate and deploy technology solutions to improve S&OP efficiency and accuracy, including advanced analytics tools.
  • Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess S&OP impacts, offering strategic recommendations.
  • Establish and manage KPIs to gauge S&OP effectiveness and drive improvement efforts.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed, in line with S&OP principles and objectives.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in Sales & Operations Planning, demand forecasting, and inventory management.
  • Strong analytical skills and expertise in data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for working with diverse teams.
  • Comprehensive understanding of supply chain processes, inventory optimization, and demand planning.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced skills in relevant software tools.
  • Strategic mindset with the capability to drive continuous improvement in S&OP processes.
  • Certification in APICS or a related field is preferred.
