This position is located at the Department of Mental Health, Spartanburg Office, 250 Dewey Avenue, Spartanburg, SC 29303.Under direct supervision of the MDFT Supervisor, will provide intensive in-home services to adolescents and their families who are at risk of out-of-home placement, to reduce the possibility of incarceration, therapeutic placement, or hospitalization. This is part of the MST/DJJ Rural Initiative Program.
  • Conducts in - depth assessment, plans treatment programs, and perform psychotherapy as well as crisis services to adolescents and their families who are at risk of disrupting their home placement or school placement, as part of the JIST Program.
  • In coordination with MDFT Supervisor, develops intensive in-home intervention plans using the evidence model.
  • Coordinates follow-up and/or step down services for clients and their families on an as needed basis upon completion of MDFT program.
