SAFETY COORDINATOR - PRAB : Job Details

The Safety Coordinator role will promote excellence throughout the organization. This position will begin reporting directly to the Vice President of Manufacturing.QUALIFICATIONS Dedication to excellence and quality output Honest, responsible, collaborative, and professional Exceptional organizational skills Excellent communication skills with attention to detail Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to Problem Solve Confidentiality Time Management & Project Tracking Basic knowledge of manufacturing and safety process Associate's degree in a business discipline with 3 years' minimum applicable business experience (experience in a manufacturing and/or safety environment is a plus) OSHA-10; OSHA-30 Certification (as a plus)RESPONSIBILITIES Promote Excellence and Safety Effectively Communicate with Shop Floor Supervision, Field Service Management, and Shop Floor Communicate with HR and Report Out on Accidents/Injuries to Team in a Timely Manner Learn and Effectively Model PRAB Safety Problem Solving Template Organize our Risk Control Assessment Audits Maintain & Update Severe Weather and Fire Evacuation Maps Schedule and Coordinate Yearly Tornado and Fire Drills Manage Fire System Account (EPS) Update Emergency Safety Boards Coordinate and Track Safety Investigations Ability to Complete Root Cause Analysis Facilitate New Employee Safety Onboarding Complete and Track Monthly Safety Walk-throughs in Each Facility Develop Programs and Facilitate Safety Training (fork trucks, overhead cranes, scissor lift, etc.) Organize First Responder Training PPE Assessment (Respirator) Compilation of Customer Safety Evaluation Forms Support Safety-related Platforms and Databases Attend Meetings, Take Notes, and Publish as Required Safety Document Control Other Tasks as Required by Supervisor
