Safety Engineer - Trinity Consultants Engineering & EHS Workforce Solutions : Job Details

Responsibilities

• Work with team to develop and implement Safety programs for manufacturing facility that maintains the highest level of safety standards.
• Work with teams on facility development and safety procedures.
• Develop methods that drive continuous improvement in the areas of environmental, health & safety (EHS) practices.
• Responsible for preparing, maintaining, and updating EHS manuals and training.
• Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and keep up to date on updates/changes to regulations that impact the company.
• Experience with LOTO, OSHA,
• Perform assessment/Analysis in the areas of:
• Root Cause Analysis
• Behavior Based Safety
• Risk Assessments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five (5) years manufacturing experience.
• Engineering degree preferred.
• CSP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Lean and Six Sigma preferred.
