As the Safety Manager, you will be a member of the site leadership team. You will be responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Safety at the Kewaunee Fabrications facility. At Kewaunee, safety is an uncompromised value, and the safety of our team members and protecting the communities in which we live is paramount.YOUR IMPACTProvide direction and guidance regarding implementation and maintenance of all health and safety related programsAssist Management with the development and implementation of an accountability program for both management and production personnelEvaluate risks and develop guidelines for roles, training, measurements and rewards for the management system for employee safetyOversee safety-related training that is required to remain in compliance with all applicable regulationsOrganize, plan, and steer the Safety Representative Program to ensure that Oshkosh employees are provided with a safe workplaceEnsure compliance with all OSHA, federal, state and local guidelines regarding health and safety programsLead the facility in our Safety Management System (SMS) journey.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Safety or another related field5+ years safety leadership experienceHOW YOU STAND OUT7+ years safety leadership experienceCSP, CHMM, CIH, or PEExperience with OSHA's VPP ProgramExhibit strong leadership and project management skillsAbility to lead through influence.Ability to communicate and interact with all levels of team members within the organization building strong partnerships.WHY KEWAUNEE?
