Also the company contributes 3% of Gross Wages. Eligible after 60 Working Day probation period. Job Responsibilities & Description for Health and Safety Manager: 1. Create an atmosphere in your areas of responsibility that continually supports the Company's operations and policies 2. Assist with the daily administration and implementation of the Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) programs that ensure compliance with statutory requirements and promote safe and healthy working conditions 3. Assist with the scheduling, preparation, training, documentation, and reporting of all safety training programs, as necessary. Programs may include, but are not limited to, new miner training, annual refresher training, supervisory first aid training, toolbox talks, site specific hazard training, task training, etc. 4. Assist with the operations of and participate in the Safety Committee and Safety Steering Committee 5. Assist with the investigation and reporting of accidents and near misses 6. Assist with the preparation, training, and implementation of safety policies 7. Tour, inspect, and report on mining and processing sites and support facilities to ensure safe work practices related to safety and environmental compliance 8. Track, update, interpret, and report safety metrics, including the Safety Incentive Program 9. Support adherence to safety and environmental regulations, applicable rules and regulations for all operations 10. Assist with the inspection, maintenance, compliance, reporting, documentation, training, and preparation of environmental reports, permits, applications, actions, and company policies as assigned 11.
