Safety Manager

$75,000 - $85,000

Trulite is GROWING! We are looking for a Safety Manager to be based at our Conley, GA location.

Who You Are:

You value safety and have an eye for coordinating the Environmental, Health, and Safety programs related to OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies for the entire plant location.

Skills You Bring:

• Associate Degree in Safety or equivalent or two years' experience as a safety professional or a combination of both.
• OSHA 30 preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• A team player
• Must be able to train other employees effectively.
• Experience working with quality systems is preferred.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Maintain and enforce company safety policies
• Coordinate and conduct safety trainings
• Safety orientation for new employee
• Perform jobsite Safety Evaluations
• Conduct accident/injury reporting which includes identifying root cause and contributing causes
• Perform clerical duties related to the Safety department including but not limited to completing inspection logs, training certificates, forms (disciplinary action for safety violations), etc.
