Safety Professional - Marathon Petroleum Corporation : Job Details

The Safety Professional is responsible for a wide range of safety activities including program development and interpretation, conducting safety training, auditing and corrective actions. Providing support as the point of contact person for an operations area team on all safety issues. Supporting the refinery emergency response efforts as part of the Incident Command structure and supporting emergency response team training and equipment checks and maintenanceSupporting the refinery as a technical resource for safety issues including interpretation of standards and regulations, accident/incident investigations, and maintenance turnaround support. Rotational on call duty including weekends and holidays required. Developing, coordinating, and presenting various safety training courses to refinery personnel. Continuously assess safety risks within the area, develop and execute mitigation plans to address risks.
