We are seeking an experienced Safety Representative to develop, implement, and manage safety protocols and compliance standards across all LINK Staffing locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management within staffing, construction, manufacturing, or industrial sectors. This role involves creating a culture of safety, conducting audits, training staff, and mitigating risks to protect our workforce and reputation.

Position: Safety Representative with Project Management Expertise

Key Responsibilities:

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential safety risks.
  • Conduct regular assessments of client sites to identify potential safety hazards and operational risks.
  • Develop and implement safety and accident prevention programs tailored to specific client environments.
  • Monitor and analyze incident reports to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.

Compliance and Training:

  • Ensure adherence to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and other relevant regulations.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for internal staff and temporary employees on safety protocols and loss prevention strategies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory changes.

Incident Investigation:

  • Lead investigations into workplace incidents, including accidents, theft, and policy violations.
  • Document findings and collaborate with management to implement preventive measures.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement and insurance representatives as necessary.

Client Collaboration:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their operational processes and identify areas for improvement in safety and loss prevention.
  • Ensure that LINK Staffing employees placed at client sites comply with client's safety standards and protocols.
  • Provide recommendations to clients on enhancing their safety protocols and reducing potential risks.
  • Foster strong relationships with client safety teams to ensure cohesive loss prevention efforts.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare detailed reports on safety audits, incident investigations, and loss prevention activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of training sessions, compliance audits, and corrective actions taken.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and clients as required.

Additional Duties:

Injury and Claims Management:

  • Act as liaison between injured employees, LINK Branch Managers, and designated risk management resources to oversee claims from incident to resolution.
  • Monitor and manage injured worker cases, ensuring timely follow-up and communication with affected employees and healthcare providers to facilitate recovery and return-to-work strategies.

Project Management and Coordination:

  • Efficiently coordinate safety initiatives, ensuring that safety projects and compliance measures are completed on time and align with the company's strategic safety goals.

Safety Expertise and Background:

  • Leverage a robust safety background to guide safety policies and practices, contributing to a safer environment for all LINK Staffing employees and associates.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in safety management, preferably within the staffing, construction, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
  • Prior experience in workers' compensation or claims management is beneficial.
  • Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Loss Prevention Specialist (CLPS) are preferred.

Certifications:

  • OSHA 30-Hour Certification is required.
  • CSP or CLPS certifications are highly desirable.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Risk Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, incident reporting, risk assessments, and safety audits.
  • Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Communication:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and educate employees at all levels of the organization.

Leadership:

  • Proven leadership skills in promoting a safety-first culture, managing change, and driving compliance across diverse environments.

Problem-Solving:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical safety solutions in dynamic environments.

Skills:

Project Management:

  • Proven project management skills with experience in coordinating multiple safety projects and tasks concurrently.
  • Familiarity with project management tools is a plus.

Case and Claims Management:

  • Experience in managing injury claims and workers' compensation cases, including coordinating with healthcare providers and claims administrators.

Investigative Skills:

  • Strong investigative skills with a focus on root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Ability to document and report findings clearly and concisely.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Excellent client interaction and relationship management skills to serve as an effective safety liaison at client sites.
  • Ability to adapt communication style to various client environments.

Time Management and Prioritization:

  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize safety-related tasks and respond quickly to urgent incidents.
