Safety Specialist I or II (Transmission & Distribution) - MYR Group : Job Details

Perform ongoing site visits to observe and document safety behaviors and work conditions to ensure a safety focus throughout all phases of electric construction projects Coordinate with Operations teams to create site-specific safety plans; actively participate in safety meetings to review job hazard analysis and hazard recognition tools Participate in project kick off and progress meetings Supporting client-specific safety requirements programs and ensure alignment and compliance between client expectations, company rules, and applicable safety regulations Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to environmental protection or occupational health and safety Coach and mentor project site personnel regarding safety practices and behaviors on an ongoing basis Conduct proactive behavior-based and quality-focused field safety observations and PPE hazard assessments Partner with Safety, Safety Training & Operations teams to schedule or facilitate required empl...Safety Specialist, Distribution, Transmission, Specialist, Safety Technician, Operations, Manufacturing
