Position Summary The Sales Account Executive plays a critical role in driving station revenue by calling on established agencies, cold-calling new prospects, and selling clients on the power and impact of television and digital advertising. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Revenue Growth: Implement strategies for existing and prospective clients to consistently grow revenue across linear and digital. Client Relationships: Establish and nurture credible relationships with the local business community. Sales Calls: Engage with both existing and prospective clients to present advertising solutions. Account Management: Maintain assigned accounts while proactively developing new business opportunities. Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client needs. Advertising Strategy: Educate clients on the benefits of television and digital advertising, crafting solutions that promote their products and services effectively. Scheduling & Placement: Develop advertising schedules and ensure seamless placement in station media. Creative Collaboration: Work with clients and station teams to develop engaging advertisements that achieve measurable results. Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned to support the sales departments overall success. Requirements & Skills Minimum of one year of Digital or Broadcast sales experience, specifically with transactional business (agencies). Valid drivers license with a clean driving record. Proven ability to achieve long-term objectives and execute strategic plans effectively. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Comscore, Nielsen, Wide Orbit Traffic and Wide Orbit Media Sales a plus. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Why Join Us? Physical Demands & Work Environment As a Sales Account Executive, you will: Conduct client meetings via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
