Position SummaryThe Sales Account Executive will work to develop strategies to drive sales as well as work with senior leadership to develop market strategies that progress the sales pipeline within a defined territory. The Sales Account Executive will also work to create opportunities to build a pipeline for future sales opportunities with his/her team, while building and maintaining relationships with current customers. This role will be focused on selling into Financial Institutions and FinTech industry . This role will report to the VP, Enterprise Sales of FirsTech, a subsidiary of First Busey Corporation (FBC).Duties & Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed annual sales targets
- Develop strategies to drive sales in a defined territory by identifying, qualifying, and managing execution of new business opportunities
- Lead identified opportunities through a defined sales process, from lead qualification to successful deal closure
- Build pipeline for future sales opportunities
- Work with the senior leadership team to develop go-to-market strategies that generate or progress pipeline within the defined territory
- Work with Busey Bank leadership to prospect and identify accounts, and execute on sales process in tandem with Bank key sales leaders
- Build trust and credibility at all levels within a prospects' organization and, thereby, identify business priorities, demonstrate value/ROI of FirsTech solutions, and ensure a successful implementation
- Build and maintain relationships within existing customers and internally with our internal customer management teams to uncover opportunities for new and cross-sell business opportunityEducation & ExperienceKnowledge of:

- Analyze and interpret numerical data
- Analyze and solve problems of a complex nature and make decisions based on a wide knowledge of many factors where application of advanced technical concepts is required for which there are not precedents
- Originate new procedures and approaches to problems
- Perform duties under frequent time pressuresEducation and Training:
- 5+ years of proven success as a Sales Leader (ideally in the FinTech or Technology services arena); 8+ years of selling technology products/services
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Finance or Economics (MBA is a plus).
