Director of Engineering
Job Summary:
A Sales Administrator works alongside our regional sales team members, providing direct support through inside sales engagements, and administration. Through this collaboration with the regional sales management team, the sales administrator facilitates growth within their designated B2B portfolio, helping nurture engagement and sales fulfillment. Success in this role is met by leveraging your customer service skills, inside sales skills, collaboration and teamwork skills, and business acumen for creating a successful customer experience.
Primary Responsibilities & Core Skills:
* Be able to use WIP to process accurate orders & spec-outs.
* Be able to use Quick Quote Order Program to process accurate orders & spec-outs.
* Responsible for filling out a Shipper correctly from a sales rep. or builder & process.
* Organize storage areas for literature, send out literature to builders, keep track of literature inventory.
* Assist in preparation for trade shows with various assignments.
* Responsible for filling out a Change Order Request Form and process.
* Putting together Prospect Packets and send out to builders when requested.
* Responsible for putting together complete Sales Books to send out to builders when requested.
* Need to be able to fill out a complete Service Request Form , put copy of order and signed confirm print attached to the order, and process.
* Take retail customer calls & direct them to a local builder in their area.
* Take prospect calls (potential builders), get information (minimum...name, company name, address, and phone number) & get information to the appropriate sales rep.
* Responsible for filling out credit requests and process.
* Be able to take a potential retail customer through the plan and models (feature/benefit the model & design center correctly).
* Responsible for ordering office supplies for Sales Department (binders, tabs, boxes, etc.).
* Need to keep sales copier/fax area clean.
* Notify service when copiers, faxes, computers are not working.
* Responsible for adding new builder information on builder lists, keep it updated and accurate.
* Must be able to scan documents to be emailed, to put together power point presentations, to type up word documents (such as increase letter).
* Responsible for attending order review meetings, correct serialized order, make the correct number of order copies, and process.
* Responsible for putting out notification mailers to builder network and mailing.
* Must be able to assist as sales rep on various requests when they are traveling on the road.
* Responsible for sales/engineering interactions for print/order alignment
* CRM use to manage daily customer/deal engagement(s)
* Creation of custom price requests (model mods) as required to fulfill pricing requests
* Audit their own, and sometimes others, work to ensure accurate pricing and engineered drawings alignment for customer needs
Experience:
* Valid driver's license
* 3 years inside sales
* 2 years negotiation
* 2 years reading blueprints and creating estimates
* Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
oHubspot software a plus
* Customer Service skills to listen to concerns and be able to address needs
* Exceptional communication skills (verbal & non-verbal)
* Self-directed individual with strong organizational abilities; including planning, delegating, and business procedures
* Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements and a desire to improve efficiency
* Exhibits sound judgment, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
