Objective:
This position is responsible for leading Shaws IBP processes across all products and business units (Residential, Turf, Commercial and TotalWorx). This person will assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the IBP strategy, processes, metrics, and technology solutions (dashboards, visual aids, templates) that deliver accurate and timely demand and supply plans and scenarios to the business. The role will be responsible for coaching a developing business analyst(s) and driving opportunities to improve our analytical tool sets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the demand consensus process delivers an agreed upon, reasonable and credible forecast and addresses all gaps and overlaps. Including driving consensus on demand forecasts, production plans, and inventory strategies to balance supply and demand. Proactively use scenario planning to model impacts of possible demand changes.
- Facilitate collaboration among departments such as finance, sales, marketing, brand, operations, geographies and supply chain to develop and ensure comprehensive IBP strategies aligned with business goals.
- Facilitate IBP meetings to review performance, resolve conflicts, and adjust plans and drive consensus based on changing business conditions. Prior to the meetings, proactively identify main topics of discussion, issues and risks.
- Proactively identify potential risks and opportunities within the business plans and help drive development of strategies to mitigate risks. Lead efforts to solve supply-demand imbalances when needed.
- Understand, document and communicate demand and supply plan changes, risks and the plans performance. Including potential financial impacts through changes within consensus plans
- Identifies and drives development of scenario plans based on potential risks with demand, supply and financial implications.
- Coach and develop business analyst(s) through development plans that algin with career goals
- Encourage and provide skills development for business analyst(s) including advanced analytical tools and techniques.
- Establish clear and achievable goals and objectives for analyst(s) career growth
- Foster partnerships with internal customers (Brand Leaders, Product Directors, Segment leaders, Manufacturing Directors, Sourcing Directors and team, Planning Directors and team, Sales VPs, VPs of Strategy, National/Geo Demand Planners, and Finance).
- Set vision and strategy for IBP framework including systems, dashboards, and reports to track initiatives, key metrics, and KPIs related to IBP processes.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure success. These metrics are to be reviewed and discussed each month through all functional steps of the IBP process.
- Continuously evaluate and improve IBP processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Other Responsibilities:
- Understanding of the entire supply chain, including customer care, transportation, sourcing, planning and distribution streams.
- Ensure that all necessary data is accurately represented in IBP Dashboards, slide decks and reports, per the monthly schedule. Proactively bring forward any data inconsistencies or potential errors. Maintain alignment between business and IBP data definitions.
- Lead the IBP implementation process for any new products/areas not currently using IBP methodologies.
- Perform ad hoc data analysis when needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree that encompasses the area of Business Operations, Engineering, Statistics, Supply Chain, or Logistics required.
- 2-4 years relevant experience in Demand Planning, IBP(S&OP) environments, or Supply Chain required (specifically within planning, operations, or inventory management)
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Experience with data visualization tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik)
- Strong project management skills with a focus on cross-functional projects (spanning sales/operations/customer fulfillment), proficient with project management tools and methodologies
- Ability to manage and drive consensus within a group and drive change
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- crisp verbal skills, effective listening skills; effective facilitation skills. Able to communicate at all levels of the organization.

- Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities to interpret data and make informed decisions. Ability to analyze a large amount of information/inputs and effectively provide and communicate solutions and options
- Ability to travel (approx. 4 trips per quarter)
Candidate must be local to Dalton, GA or surounding areas. This is not a remote role.
