Job Description :

The Sales Associate will provide administrative support to the eBook trade sales team, with some contact with eBook accounts. What you'll do:

  • Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled eBook price promotions
  • Create meeting agendas
  • Create monthly email memos and pub alert emails
  • Work as primary eBook contact for Scribd, support Senior Manager with digital library accounts
  • Participate in regular sales and marketing meetings, account calls, and quarterly title presentations
  • Support team in ad hoc administrative tasks
  • Develop a strong relationship with Macmillan's wholly owned and distribution publishing teams, as well as the teams for Amazon, Library Marketing, Data Analytics, digital audio, and Central Marketing
What you'll bring:
  • Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) and customer service skills
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work independently on deadlines and manage time efficiently
  • Ability to perform basic analytic tasks in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and calculating percent change
  • Proficiency in Gmail, Google Sheets, and Google Slides
  • Interest in sales and the publishing industry
Ideal Experience:
  • 1-3 years of experience in publishing and/or sales
This role will have an annual salary of $54,000-$56,000.
