BYLT Premium Basics is hiring a Sales Associate. The ideal candidate is customer-service oriented and passionate about people. This individual will inspire to be a product expert to educate, inform, and outfit the customer for any occasion. They will have a BYLT for you mindset and be a true ambassador of the brand.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Actively greet and engage with our customers on the sales floor to provide the best customer experience.
• Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
• Support in the maintenance of a neat and tidy sales floor to ensure a positive shopping experience inclusive of folding, hanging, displaying, and merchandising garments per BYLT's guidelines to maximize selling opportunities.
• Keep clientele informed by notifying them of current promotions and future merchandise of potential interest.
• Respond to customers' questions.
• Administer financial transactions by processing payments by cash, gift cards, store credit, or other credit and debit cards.
• Alert management of potential security issues.
• Assist with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS

• Excellent communicator with the ability to utilize technology effectively and engage with customers and your team to meet goals.
• Problem solver with a focus on continuous improvement, who is always learning, open to feedback, and takes action as required.
• Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally.
• Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems.
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training.
• Ability to upsell.
• BYLT product knowledge.
• Customer service and people skills.
• Fast-paced energy level.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

• 1 year+ of retail experience.
• Cash handling skills & Point of Sales Systems experience.
• Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
• Bending/stooping/kneeling required – frequently.
• Ability to work varied hours and days including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
