POSITION SUMMARY The Sales Associate will execute a sales plan for School Programs, Group and Family Retreats, Team-Building, the non-summer reservations for our East Valley Ranch, and Tokyo program. Selling the Frost Valley experience to groups, schools and families is the key measurement of success. The Associate will work to ensure that the non summer programs will meet or exceed our departmental revenue goals by focusing on customer contact, and implementing a sales and marketing plan that focuses on reaching out to new groups. The Associate will ensure that the Business Department will work to the highest standards to meet the mission of not only the Department, but the YMCA, the expectations of the staff and customers, and the best interests of Frost Valley. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business leads, focusing on creative revenue streams and aligning with Frost Valley's strategic goals.
- Convert leads into successful bookings through strategic sales efforts and compelling communications.
- Engage in email outreach, phone calls, and research to uncover new business opportunities.
- Understand and analyze metrics required to achieve annual revenue goals. Provide regular updates on sales stats and metrics.
- Monitor sales leads and conversion rates to ensure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with the marketing team to target new demographics and develop strategies for attracting new users.
- Implement recruitment and communication strategies to re-engage past guests, nurture leads, and explore new business growth areas.
- Maintain flexibility with work hours and be willing to travel as needed to support sales initiatives.

- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of two years working in sales, marketing or customer service industries
- Experience working in recreational or camp settings preferred but not required
- Proven success with group recruitment and revenue generation
- Be an excellent speaker and be able to make public presentations
- Strong customer service background
- Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel, Thinsoft, Salesforce or have the ability to master these key programs
- Possess excellent communication and organizational skills
- Be a strong leader and be able to work well with a team of others
- Be able to multitask and handle pressure well
