At the Fennec, we are seeking an energetic and well-organized Events Associate to provide support to our Events Sales Manager. This role will assist the banquet sales manager with management of prospective and existing customers. Events Associate Responsibilities: Conduct events tours with prospective customers Review contract details with Events Management for accuracy Assist in following up with prospects and recording information in Events Management Software. Support on-site event operations, attendee assistance, and customer support. Assist Marketing with photographing certain events. Communicate with clients as directed, vendors, and sponsors to ensure events questions are answered Track budgets, timelines, and milestones. Help with marketing initiatives to promote events and boost attendance. Provide administrative support to the events team as needed. Events Associate Requirements: Bachelor's degree in hospitality or events sales a plus Exceptional ability to plan banquets, manage budgets, and meet deadlines. Excellent interpersonal, sales, and communication skills. Ability to work occasional nights and/or weekends
