Our Sales Associates are responsible for greeting customers, providing honest and informative answers to questions, making suggestions about products that customers might want, and performing necessary tasks for efficient department operation. All JAX employees are expected to provide excellent customer service, engaging with people and sharing excitement about our store. Responsibilities include:

• Stocking shelves
• Assisting the Department Manager
• Providing customer feedback to Department Managers and the Buyers Team
• Accurately processing payments
• Helping with visual merchandising
• Maintaining a clean and well-stocked area
• Completing record-keeping tasks and contributing to reports
• Learning about products to provide better answers to customer questions
• Assisting in loss prevention efforts
• Communicating professionally
• Presenting a professional appearance and demeanor
• Taking steps to advance teamwork and develop solid working relationships with co-workers
• Assisting in inventory responsibilities

Minimum Requirements:

Our ideal candidate has prior customer service experience and is willing to pitch in where needed. Additional knowledge, skills or abilities include:

• Previous knowledge or experience with brands carried by JAX preferred
• Any experience with gardening, landscaping, or outdoor power equipment helpful
• Cashiering experience desired
• Computer proficiency required
• Works well with others
• Organizational skills
• Engaging and positive
• Attention to detail

Schedule Requirements:

• Must be available during weekdays and have at least one weekend day (Sat or Sun) available
• Flexible shifts available

Pay Range: $15.14 - $16.50

Positions: 1 Part-Time opening available, average 15-20 hours per week
