The Fairfield Inn & Suites, located in Baraboo, Wisconsin, is a newly constructed property that first opened its doors in August of 2023. We are currently seeking a part-time Sales Coordinator to join our team, with a primary focus on corporate group sales. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about sales and customer service and has the ability to work between the hours of 8am and 5pm, with potential scheduling needed in the evenings or weekends depending on group blocks or networking events.JOB SUMMARY:The Sales Coordinator serves works with the front desk to provide guests with an unforgettable experience at the property in addition to attracting new guests and clients to increase overall revenue.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProspect a list of company and referral leads generated through research, networking, social media, special eventsServe as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests in a prompt, courteous, and pleasant mannerGenerate sales presentations and a variety of additional materials for prospective customers highlighting event space, dining and catering services, and facility amenitiesIdentify opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding guest satisfactionPrepare proposals, contract bookings and assist the GM in the execution of sales processAssist in providing personalized “on the floor” attention to in-house groupsCoordinate marketing materials such as social media pages and e-mail blasts, respond to guests through various customer service outlets including comment cards and social mediaAssist other departments as required and additional duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business management or related field preferredMust be at least 18 years of age or olderExperience in sales role with progressive responsibilities; preferably in hospitalityDemonstrated track record of excellent sales productionAbility to effectively negotiate, and networkDemonstrated professional demeanor with exemplary verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and successfully manage multi-tasking situationsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervisionProficient in MS Office suiteWhy S&L Hospitality?S&L Hospitality is always seeking hardworking and energetic individuals to fill a variety of positions at our properties.
