With our headquarters in Erie, Pennsylvania, we operate on six continents through an extensive network of subsidiaries and sales representatives.About the Role:We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join our Flotation team. This position will assist sales department with managing all sales related activites, and to assist with the overall growth of flotation sales.Responsibilities:
- Assists in proposal generation including obtaining information from the various stakeholders and assists in validating the proposal deliverables as related to the Request for Quote (RFQ)
- Generate pricing and proposals for flotation spare parts, including direct sales to customers and support of outside sales representatives
- Generate internal sales orders system based on customer purchase orders, ensuring scope, specifications, execution plan, and schedule are accurately represented on the sales order in coordination with the sales department
- Develop production schedules for sold orders and proposals in coordination with external vendors and Eriez USA purchasing and production services department
- Translate customer requirements for sold order to process, mechanical and electrical engineering departments and ensure engineering deliverables are completed on schedule
- Participate in weekly production meetings to track the status of key components in flotation sales orders, ensuring that procurement and fabrication are completed on schedule
- Develop project status reports (both internally and for the client) including progress reporting, cost reporting, earned value reporting and forecasting
- Manage changes on projects including documenting and reporting on project change orders
- Document control for projects including tracking, receiving, and distributing project documents
- Prepare monthly financial reports summarizing order intake and shipment revenue associated with flotation spare parts
- Completing all sales setup requirements and following up on all outstanding action items
- Work with Sales Manager in the development and maintenance of the daily functions of the department
- Logs and manages all Request for Quotation (RFQ) documents
- Document control for the Sales group including tracking, receiving and distributing RFQ documents
- Management of sales documentation in various formats/programs
- Development and maintenance of sales procedures including, but not limited to, document control, progress reporting, etc.
Requirements
- 5 years + experience in project management environment in Engineering, Manufacturing
- Associate (2-yr) degree with background in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or Instrumentation
- Working understanding of commercial aspects for projects including the ability to review terms & conditions and participate in project contract negotiations
- Experience with developing and maintaining customer relationship
- Ability to understand technical drawings
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Ability to work Independently as well as on a team
- Must be well-organized and detail-oriented with good leadership skills
- Must be fluent in English with good verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced skills in Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel
- Experience with MS Projects
