What you'll be doing
  • Generate quality pipeline for our sales team using outbound outreach (email, cold calls, social selling)
  • Prospect into target account lists to identify the right stakeholders to contact at each account
  • Personalize messaging based on your research to improve reply rates, showcase empathy and build credibility
  • Educate prospects to help them understand how Okteto can help their organization
  • Qualify prospects by developing an understanding of their current needs and pain points
  • Pass qualified prospects off to the appropriate sales rep by booking a meeting and organizing easily digestible notes about the prospect's needs
A good fit
  • Experience in a high growth startup
  • Understand Sales Development cycle and have shown success in the past
  • Knowledge of how to work with customers
  • Proven business development success through effective use of core sales tools (Knowledge of Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong is a plus)
  • 1-3 years experience working as an SDR in a B2B SaaS Tech company
  • Able to negotiate skillfully, promote/sell ideas persuasively
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence
  • Able to think strategically and tactically. Able to maintain a positive attitude in the face of criticism, rejection, or failure
  • Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables.
  • Self Starter. Proactive and brings new ideas to the team
  • Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic
  • Demonstrated success as an SDR
