Opencall is a Y-Combinator backed seed-stage startup that is building AI Phone agents which do the work of call center agents. Opencall is one of the first startups to apply AI to phone conversations and have been building bespoke AI agents for companies making hundreds of thousands of annual calls since 2022.

Opencall has established a sales cycle that led to a massive boom in clients over the last couple of months, and we are hiring our founding SDR team to scale our company to millions in revenue. Our product is a game-changer: companies quickly see its value, with straightforward implementation and immediate increase in call center efficiency and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do:

  • Source new opportunities: Use our suite of customized tooling to proactively identify and connect with SMB owners and decision makers nationwide
  • Grow top of funnel: Own and run both warm and cold outbound campaigns, including cold calling and email marketing
  • Uncover Needs: Build relationships with prospects through consultative selling to identify their needs, qualify their interest, and evaluate viability.
  • Track and Improve Performance: Maintain accurate prospect data to support weekly and monthly reporting. Be accountable for hitting KPIs across email and phone channels, while continuously refining outreach for greater efficiency and effectiveness.

This position will be in-person in our office in NYC. You will frequently interact with the founders and get all of the benefits of working for a high-growth startup.

  • Energetic phone presence, charisma and excellent listening skills to uncover business challenges and position Opencall as the solution
  • High level of comfort with sales, prospecting and marketing tools & processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Dedication to tracking and improving performance and efficiency on a daily basis
  • Sense of entrepreneurship: a self-starter with a high sense of urgency, a bias for action, and ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
  • Results oriented mindset, dedicated to tracking, analyzing and improving performance metrics daily

Nice to Haves

  • Prior experience using a CRM
  • Prior experience with customer-facing and/or sales roles processes
  • Experience at an early-stage startup
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year university
