The Group owns and operates52 offices worldwide.Chronos Consulting's client is a multinational providing operational quality management solutions for the Automotive sector, activities range from inspection to expert auditing, consulting, and training. This is a newly created position; we are seeking a Sales Director with a primary focus on the East Coast US and Canada. Home-based role with travel to client sites as required, and at least 1 day per week based in the office.The Role:Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Managing, coaching, mentoring seasoned regional sales managers (team of 5 -7).
  • Travelling and working with leaders in the organization to identify long-term sustainable solutions to common sales obstacles.
  • Implementing a sales strategy to achieve revenue, margin, profitability goals and marketing growth objectives.
  • Building, managing and maintaining an opportunity pipeline to meet new business targets.
  • Monitoring KPIs for analysis and predictability of the sales business and creating programs and processes aimed at capturing and retaining clients.
  • Recommending pricing strategies and guidelines.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to prepare email campaigns promoting services specific to each service and sales region.
  • Driving sales training and development programs.
  • Planning and controlling budget and expenditures.The Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum 10 years of sales experience in the automotive industry (OEM, Tier 1 or 2), preferably in 3rd party inspection/containment services or within a quality department.
  • Minimum of 5 years recent experience in leading and growing a sales team in a B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to build consensus and influence across levels within the organization.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales results in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Demonstrated people management capabilities, including coaching and performance management to drive high levels of employee engagement and recruit and retain high-level sales performers.
  • Ability to multi-task is critical; must have organizational skills and be able to meet deadlines.
  • Passion for understanding the business and a well-informed thought-leader.
  • Diplomatically and thoughtfully deliver results and outcomes to customers and colleagues at all levels.
