This role involves driving sales execution, improving processes, and ensuring we exceed business performance targets in government, education, and public sector segments. You'll also play a key role in shaping our go-to-market strategy and building strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a diverse sales team focused on the government, education, and public sector markets.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed performance targets, focusing on ARR growth, pipeline development, and client acquisition.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and legal teams to align on government-specific requirements and opportunities.
- Drive adoption of monday.com's platform in these markets, tailoring messaging and solutions to meet public sector needs.
- Lead contract negotiations and navigate compliance discussions in collaboration with legal and security teams.
- Identify and prioritize key opportunities, building a scalable and repeatable sales process across varied roles and functions.
- Deliver on team performance metrics, pipeline growth, and forecast accuracy.Your Experience & Skills
- 7+ years of sales management experience in SaaS, enterprise software, or public sector sales.
- 5 + years of experience in government, education, or public sector sales (quota-carrying or leadership role preferred).
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes, RFPs, and government contracting requirements (e.g., FedRAMP, NASPO, SLED).
- Proven ability to coach and develop high-performing sales teams across varied roles.
- Experience navigating complex sales cycles, including working with legal, procurement, and compliance teams.
- Demonstrated ability to identify decision-makers and influencers in large organizations and build strong, lasting relationships with them.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish credibility with C-level stakeholders.
- A self-starter who is result-oriented, adaptable, inquisitive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
