Sales Engineers- Telecom

Work is in Roanoke, VA

Full Time, Direct Hire

Pay is $80-$90k depending on experience

Respond to RFPs/RFIs by producing network designs, diagrams-

Technical information and Engineering support

Develop cost estimates & network designs

Prepare or assist in preparing technical presentations,

CCNA, CCDA, or similar certifications preferred, but not required

Access networks (FTTH, DSL, DOCSIS, Metro Ethernet)

Transport technologies (Ethernet, optical networking, IP routing/networking)

Routing & Switching (MPLS, VPN's, layer 2/3 QOS, VLAN, ISIS, BGP, and HSRP)

Voice network technologies and protocols (traditional telephone and VoIP)
