Reports To: Director of Business Development - Southeast

Position Type: Salary + Bonus

Role Summary: This dynamic position will work with the Kaldi's Coffee team of cross-functional leaders to grow brand awareness, market share, and customer development, highlighting the brand value through expertise, products and communication. This person will need to be driven and goal oriented with proven ability to plan, track, and execute key metrics. Must also possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work within a team, strong analytical and leadership skills and represent the Kaldi's brand with passion and positivity.

Duties & Responsibilities:

● Responsible for achieving new business goals set alongside the Director of Business Development along with managing current business while representing the Kaldi's Brand

● Able to plan and organize schedule as well as report progress weekly to the Director of Business Development

● Ability to manage and focus on the business development of current wholesale customers and growth of new within established or untapped customer segments

● Ability and willingness to learn, develop and train on Kaldi's Coffee & the Specialty Coffee Association's specs and standards of coffee, espresso, tea, and equipment

● Ability to utilize data analytics (PowerBi) and CRM tools (Microsoft Dynamics) to communicate internally with the Kaldi's team and externally with wholesale customers on results and expectations

● Establish and maintain communication (outbound and inbound) schedule with wholesale/distributor customers

● Plan brand activation and associated investment and resource needs

● Order and utilize budget of point of sale (POS) material

● Strategize new business development and create new relationships within the community focused on cafe/restaurant/office/hotel business opportunities in Metro Atlanta

● Manage schedule to connect with customers on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis based off of set priority schedule, with constant availability to the customer via phone or email

● Be a brand ambassador for the company and participate in community events as needed

● Stay up to date on trends in the Specialty Coffee Industry that will affect the products customers buy today and in the future

● Maintain all manuals, prices lists and other documents related to sales transactions

● Work with sales & customer service team on new accounts and onboarding procedures

● Work alongside all departments to onboard new customers and create memorable coffee experiences

● Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills/Abilities:

● Bachelor Degree Preferred

● Excellent interpersonal skills and fueled by customer support and interaction

● Exceptional knowledge of sales, marketing and development processes as well as customer service principles and basic business principles.

● Ability to think critically and report on business financials, analysis, KPIs and goal-setting.

● Knowledge of relevant computer applications, (Microsoft) and company CRM systems.

● Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or the business community.

● Should be an expert in forward thinking market research and problem solving skills.

● Efficiently work under pressure, deadlines, and stretch extra hours to complete assigned task.

● Excellent oral and written communications

● Ability to act/work independently

● Travel and flexible work hours are requirements for this position
