The Position: AmeriCU Credit Union is in search of a Sales Manager who aligns directly with our mission to provide our members with the right financial services to live life, dream big, and achieve financial success, and our vision to be the most admired organization in every community we serve. The Sales Manager will:
  • Collaborates with the AVP, Sales Development and Management Teams to develop and maintain a robust sale culture. Including creating sales trainings and materials to motivate and engage all sales roles at AmeriCU. Supports the coaching and reinforcement of sales behaviors with department leaders to cultivate a high growth business environment at AmeriCU. Develop and sustain sales behaviors that support achieving the various annual KPIs and strategies.
  • Has in-depth working knowledge of AmeriCU's CRM system (Salesforce) and production systems, such as Meridian Link. Educates and reinforces the behaviors required to ensure all sales team members are maximizing the systems to drive production, identify opportunities, manage their pipelines and books of business.
What you will do: As a Sales Manageryour primary responsibilities will include:
  • Collaborates with the AVP, Sales Development to identify sales training needs for the various divisions of the credit union.
  • Delivers and supports AmeriCU's sales training program. Stays engaged with front line leaders to ensure usage and proficiency. Work with training department to develop additional sales reinforcement training as training needs evolve.
  • Provides specialized support to the various sales teams through targeted coaching and follow-up as needed to motivate and elevate sales production.
  • Session Facilitation: May lead and facilitate a variety of training programs, designed to build sales.
  • Facilitates sales training sessions as required.
  • Facilitate learning to develop sales and member service competencies in staff to meet specified performance expectations. Train employees to identify members' needs and cross-sell appropriate product or service to fulfill their needs and enhance performance for credit-union wide sales.
  • Incorporate the CRM software into all sales behaviors to ensure consistent use in all divisions of the credit union.
  • Provide sales management training to supervisory staff to ensure that learning translates to desired and sustained performance.
  • Drive sales engagement and excitement with sales contests and events that will produce strong results and spotlight team members and groups for their successful results.
  • Evaluation and Skills Assessment:
  • Work with internal clients and external vendors to assess sales and member service training needs, to develop and facilitate appropriate training and to improve sales and member service performance. Support Management Team to monitor linkage between curriculum and employee performance.
  • Assist in assessing employee skills and progress. Create and utilize instruments or other methods to measure student learning. Provide feedback to employees and Managers. Evaluate training program effectiveness and modifies as needed.
  • Training Consultation: Report evaluation results to management and others in the organization responsible for coaching and developing employee performance. Assist in on-going assessments.
  • Administration: Assist in monitoring and tracking of training sessions and managing of program enrollment/registration process. Maintain libraries of training resources, including instructional videos, texts, manuals, and reference materials. Assist teams with sales reporting, as required.
  • Managerial: May be responsible for the development and coaching of sales training team, actively managing staff to meet or exceed the sales objectives of the organization.
