Position Overview:The Sales Manager will play a key role in the company's expansion, focusing on developing and executing sales strategies for aerial platforms, earthmoving equipment, and forklifts across North America. The role involves working closely with dealers, distributors, and customers to promote the company's innovative products, build strong relationships, and generate significant revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the heavy equipment industry, with expertise in these product categories and a deep understanding of the North American market.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets for aerial platforms, earthmoving products, and forklifts in North America.
Customer & Dealer Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with dealers, distributors, and customers, providing expert-level support and solutions.
Market Penetration: Identify new growth opportunities in both established and emerging markets across North America, targeting key accounts and industries.
Product Knowledge & Demonstration: Act as a technical expert on the company's product offerings, including aerial platforms, forklifts, and earthmoving equipment, providing product demonstrations and training.
Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Monitor sales activities, market trends, and competitor actions. Provide accurate sales forecasts and actionable insights to leadership.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align product offerings with customer needs.
Negotiation & Contract Management: Oversee negotiations and ensure favorable contract terms with customers, maximizing profitability and ensuring long-term business relationships.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales within the heavy equipment industry, with a focus on aerial working platforms, earthmoving equipment, or forklifts.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the North American construction and material handling equipment markets, with a focus on innovative technology in equipment design.
Proven Sales Success: Ability to exceed sales targets, develop customer relationships, and manage complex sales cycles. Experience handling large-scale deals and contracts is preferred.
Communication & Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Industry-specific certifications (e.g., CE certification, forklift certification) are a plus.
Travel: Willingness to travel frequently across North America for client meetings, trade shows, and product demonstrations.
