Summary

The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and driving change in the sales, delivery, and merchandising activities within their assigned area of responsibility.

Key Activities

  • Direct and monitor the Soft Drink Sales Team in the areas of sales, placements, distribution, product rotation, code dates, pricing, POS, displays, and cooler position/sets.
  • Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives
  • Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company's customer base.
  • Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful channel and partner programs as well as local and national programs.
  • Meet or Exceed set KPI's and other performance goals including Volume, Margin, Out Date/Breakage, and New Product Distribution
  • Create and maintain annual budget.

  • Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with customers, Team Members, and partners.
  • Established contacts and relationships with potential customers and channel partners.

Educations & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales and Marketing and 5 years of experience in a sales and marketing managing position
  • Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management
  • Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations
  • Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts
