About the Role The Automation Sales Manager will support the VP of Automation Sales in driving revenue growth, managing client relationships, and overseeing daily sales operations. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, contributing to sales strategies, and mentoring junior sales staff to achieve organizational goals. The ideal candidate is a motivated leader with a strong background in automation sales and a passion for delivering exceptional client solutions What You'll Do: Provide assistance in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve business objectives. Oversee and support the daily activities of the New York Industrial Automation Sales team. Provide ongoing training for the sales team to improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service. Provide training, coaching, mentorship and motivation to sales team within the Rockwell Automation APR. Collaborate with VP of Sales, manufacturers, Automation Team, Inside Sales, Marketing, Branch Managers to align sales efforts with Turtle's offerings. Track sales performance metrics, understand market, emerging trends, potential business opportunities and discover new markets. Participate in key customer meetings and presentations of Turtle and technology. Handle high-level negotiations with key customers and ensure successful deal closures. Maintain account responsibility for sales and ensure consistent engagement with key customers and drive business development initiatives Regularly assess emerging products or technologies from manufacturers to potentially add to your portfolio, ensuring your offerings stay competitive and meet evolving client needs. Utilize CRM tools to track client interactions, sales milestones, and follow-up tasks to stay on top of engagements. Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management, ensuring alignment with business goals. Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and manufacturer sales meetings to stay informed about market trends, network with potential clients, and foster relationships with manufacturers. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or business development. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage complex client relationships. Proven track record in achieving revenue targets, particularly ARR, and customer satisfaction. Experience in mentoring or coaching sales team members is a plus. Familiarity with CRM tools and customer success platforms is preferred. What We Offer: We offer a competitive benefits package.
