Position Summary Murray's Cheese is currently seeking a Sales Manager to drive significant growth across an existing list of Wholesale customers, and to win and develop new accounts. The ideal candidate has strong business development, account management and product education experience and skills. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. What You Do
- Manage and build relationships with new and existing accounts to effectively increase sales.
- Identify and secure new business account leads, and nurture them to become active accounts.
- Develop and execute dynamic account level sales strategies to achieve budget goals.
- Increase client engagement with Murray's brand through staff trainings and other educational opportunities.
- Provide in-person product tastings and menu consultation.
- Maintain a frequent presence with high value, strategic accounts, and key decision makers.
- Conduct weekly account visits and new account prospecting.
- Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales analysis and reporting.
- Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Merchandising, and Production to ensure client needs are being supported to achieve sales goals.
- Participate in sales department support as needed.

What We Need From You
- Knowledge and understanding of the restaurant industry is essential.
- Experience selling perishable items into the F&B industry is preferable.
- Love of food and cheese is a must.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- CRM experience is a PLUS.
- Must live in the NYC area and be out in the market at a minimum 50% of the time.
