It's what we do as people that makes Lands' End a great place to work.As a Business Outfitter's Sales Operations Assistant, you support the maintenance and refresh of small-to-medium customer apparel programs, including but not limited to: providing guidance and support in the design of custom websites, determining which products customer will carry, developing creative materials from templates, understanding customer business requirements and how they relate to Lands' End processes, executing customer reporting needs, and supporting customer contacts in a number of other tasks as needed. Additionally, you work collaboratively with a variety of internal and external resources to execute processes and solutions that meet customer program requirements. These resources will include Call Centers, Business Outfitters Creative, A/R and Inventory Management, Web Development, Lands' End Order Services, Information Services, and outside vendors. You should also be willing to learn the Lean and Agile methodologies to provide quick turnaround on customer needs and keep an eye to improving the day-to-day operational processes as part of a team.This position is based in Dodgeville, WI. Stevens Point, WI base can also be considered.
- Work with sales partner to execute upon the strategic vision for account growth; Operations Assistants should also identify new opportunities for sales growth within the accounts and share with team members assigned to account. Operations Assistant may travel to marketing events as needed.
- Support the regular refresh and maintenance activities for assigned accounts.
- Function as main point of contact for customer - engage sales for activities surrounding ordering, contracts, new services/products, special events, rebrands, sharing promotions, or other potentially revenue generating activities.
- Coordinate and facilitate client meetings with a focus on retention and relationship building.
- Manage relationship and communication between cross-functional partners and customer.
- Actively identify areas for improvement and proposed solutions for those issues for both internal and client facing processes/procedures.
- Document Ops processes for assigned account(s) following Process Documentation Templates/Processes.
- Participate in additional projects as assigned to achieve strategic business goals.
- Travel may be required 4-6 times per year to support accounts.
- May work on special projects/other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Sales Operations, Marketing, or a related field.
- 0-1-year sales support experience supporting B2B clients.
- Proven record of success in sales operations, with a focus on Mid-Market clients.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Knowledge of Lands' End Product is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as required.
