Position Overview
The Sales Operations Control Specialist serves as the central coordinator for our Sales Engineering team's activities, managing complex logistics while ensuring seamless communication across all stakeholders. This role requires exceptional organizational abilities and serves as the operational backbone for our field activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics and Travel Management
- Coordinate comprehensive travel arrangements for Sales Engineers, including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation
- Maintain and update travel schedules in Salesforce and designated scheduling software
- Track and verify all travel-related expenses and receipts
- Process expense reports and maintain accurate records of travel costs
- Manage equipment logistics for field assignments
Stakeholder Management and Communication
- Facilitate effective communication between Sales Engineers and key stakeholders
- Coordinate pre-trip planning and post-trip reporting with all relevant parties
Systems and Data Management
Maintain accurate records in Salesforce CRM, including:
- Customer interaction details
- Trip planning and outcomes
- Equipment tracking
- Expense management
- Utilize scheduling software to optimize Sales Engineer availability and assignments
- Create and maintain operational dashboards and reports
Equipment and Resource Management
- Conduct regular audits of demonstration equipment
- Track equipment maintenance schedules
- Manage inventory of necessary travel supplies
- Coordinate equipment repairs and replacements
- Develop and maintain equipment budget forecasts
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Excellent Organizational management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Salesforce CRM
- Knowledge of Travel management software
- Knowledge of the security or access control industry
- Knowledge of corporate travel management best practices
