Sales Rep - Environpac : Job Details

Environpac has a mission to bring sustainable custom packaging to Food and Beverage, hospitality, and Retail. We carry biodegradable concepts, and our focus is replacing plastic containers and takeout bags. 90% of our products are sustainable or first generation, which means they can be recycled; this includes products like one of our best sellers, branded bar cups. We match all the exact sizes as standard generic plastics. If the customer purchases in bulk, depending on the type of existing packaging, we are sometimes highly competitive with branding.

Now, what type of role are we hiring for? We are looking for students who have 5-10 hours a week within a college town with a high concentration of bars, restaurants, and high-end hotels. In this role, you would promote Environpac's products and services to this specific market. Let's face it: branding is paramount in the F&B industry; our belief is that branded packaging should be available not just to the typical multi-national chains you see. This is a hybrid sales role; Environpac will supply you with all the necessary hand-outs to make what we provide easy and almost self-explanatory. The best part is that we have very well-known brands, concepts, and a story that can make the sales and promotion process more appealing to prospects.

How will you be compensated? Environpac will pay a commission on any sales that are converted; this commission can range from 5% to 10% of the sales based on the product. Our minimum sale starts at $2,500 and can reach $12,000 to $15,000. The best part is once you qualify the prospect and they wish to engage with us, we take it from there. However, you can participate in the sales process as little or as much as you want. This is an excellent opportunity for students to learn more about sales, marketing, manufacturing, and supply chain.
