FlexStaff is seeking a Sales Representative for our client, a Nassau County based food importer. This position is full-time, hybrid (3 days/week in the office).

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Conduct outside sales activities within assigned territory to meet sales targets
* Build and maintain relationships with existing customers as well as growing our customer base
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities
* Utilize CRM software to track sales activities and manage customer accounts
* Provide technical sales support and product information to customers
* Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential sales strategies and assist purchasing team with buying forecast
* Negotiate pricing and contracts with customers and prepare and assist with bids
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise
REQUIREMENTS
* Proven experience in outside sales in the food industry is required
* Strong sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
* Strong project management skills, including the ability to multi-task and translate creative ideas into action with a clear ROI.
* Ability to adapt in a fast paced environment and able to meet deadlines, stay focused, be self-motivated and show integrity
* Excellent account management and customer service skills
* Ability to analyze market data and identify sales opportunities, must be a critical thinker
* Strong communication and presentation skills
