Sales Representative - Home Healthcare Full Time - Hybrid McHenry, Illinois Total Rewards Package:

Sales Representative - Home Healthcare As a Sales Representative in the field of home health at AssureHHI, you will play a vital role in promoting and educating various communities, healthcare organizations, hospitals, physicians, social workers, and other healthcare providers about the services offered by Assure Home Health. In this role, you will spearhead grassroots efforts, foster relationships, and act as a liaison with local community and professional organizations, influential community leaders, clients, patients, and media outlets to emphasize our role as a premier home healthcare service provider. Responsibilities
  • Utilize a comprehensive marketing and sales plan to strategically expand our client base in the designated territory.
  • Conduct daily face-to-face sales interactions with referral sources to generate promising business leads.
  • Engage in 35 - 40 sales calls or visits per week, targeting both medical and non-medical referral partners, including new and follow-up interactions.
  • Plan and orchestrate community marketing events to bolster our presence and create new connections and business prospects within the community.
  • Initiate prospect calls and visits to potential new referral partners, ensuring the successful implementation of contracts and agreements to meet sales targets.
  • Craft a well-defined visitation schedule for existing referral partners, fostering growth and maintaining strong partner relationships.
  • Develop and curate a comprehensive eRSP database containing prospects, clients, and referral partners, aiding in effective communication via email.
  • Maintain databases by meticulously compiling and inputting pertinent information from professional referral sources.
  • Provide data for marketing team utilization, facilitating business development strategies and pinpointing avenues for growth.
  • Support and execute strategic planning and marketing efforts for Medicare, Insurance, and Medicaid services.
  • Offer accurate technical information while delivering exceptional customer service, heightening awareness among physicians, communities, and staying updated on industry trends.
  • Lead community outreach and professional education initiatives, acting as the central point of contact, executing outreach endeavors, and analyzing data for effectiveness.
  • Ensure robust attendance at speaking engagements, involving physicians, nurses, social workers, faith-based leaders, and healthcare specialists.
  • Manage all aspects of market research data collection, cultivating key client profiles and competitor insights from diverse sources.
  • Collaborate with hospital discharge planning personnel, utilization review departments, and insurance Case Managers to ensure seamless discharge.
  • Engage closely with internal and external client/patient contacts, resolving intricate client/patient issues in collaboration with client/patient management.
  • Work in tandem with Quality Improvement to bolster business development by collecting survey results and utilizing insights to uncover growth prospects.
  • Acquire an in-depth understanding of managed care issues, Medicare, Medicaid regulations, rights, and service delivery, sharing this knowledge with the community, patients, and other healthcare providers.
  • Maintain a robust knowledge of community resources, assisting customers in accessing them if services are not provided by Assure Home Healthcare, Inc.
  • Local and some overnight travel may be required.
Qualifications
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, finance, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • Previous experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), especially in a home healthcare environment, is advantageous.
  • Possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience in home health care, long-term care, healthcare, or allied health marketing, operations, or business development.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of healthcare sales experience.
  • Proficient in utilizing technologies including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, as well as Google, Adobe, DocuSign, and other software related to business development and sales.
  • Hold a valid driver's license, own a dependable vehicle, and maintain a clean driving record.
