DescriptionOur Expectations:At US Brick, we are looking for team member who has a roll up the sleeves and get it done in a safe, efficient, and thoughtful manner work ethic. US Brick has a current vacancy to join our diverse and dynamic company as a Sales Representative in the Greater Memphis and Western Tennessee area. This role will report directly to Jay Fuqua, EVP of Sales. What you will be doing:
- Grow and develop U.S. Brick brick and accessories sales in Greater Memphis and Wester Tennessee territory.
- Drive sales of bricks, masonry and accessory products to homeowners, architects, and builders.
- Understand and analyze market demands and product trends for residential brick.
- Develop strategies to promote and sell US Brick product segments and product lines.
- Desire to grow business and territory through strategic planning.
- Experience with brick sales, as well as an eye for color and design, a plus.
- Follow all safety, quality, production, environmental policies, and procedures
- Be a good team member, assisting others as needed in a helpful way
- Contribute to team effort by performing other assigned duties as needed.
- Ensuring builders have the material on site when needed.
- Forming new relationships between new and existing builders and architects, to open new accounts.
- Traveling regularly to visit customers in the market.
These are the primary responsibilities of the role and general expectations, but additional tasks may be assigned within the scope of your skills and abilities and appropriate training and guidance will be provided as needed.The required skills and education to be successful:
- 2+ years sales outside experience; brick industry experience a plus
- Proactive, critical thinker and problem solver
- Team-player mindset.
- Adaptability and flexibility required.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication
- Bachelor's or Associates degree, preferred.
- Sales experience in brick industry, highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, required.
