EXPERIENCEDStainless Steel Fabrication Sales Rep- Sell to the Food Service IndustryTitle of Job: Sales RepresentativeStatus: ExemptReports To: Director of Business DevelopmentSummary of Position: Our Sales Representatives have a high level of visibility and accountability for maintaining and developing new and existing key account customer relationships in an assigned territory. They will manage the entire sales process for all prospects. This could include managing the project after the close of the sales. This role will maintain our current customer base and manage new customer relationships established by the sales rep. Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Prospect, propose and close chain accounts
- Perform high volume cold calling / prospecting
- Build & maintain ongoing rapport with key individuals at customer locations
- Manage sales materials, presentations, contracts & pricing
- Conduct sales presentations by physical visits to customer locations
- Perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company services while on-site
- Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within client base
- Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth
- Overcome objections of prospective customers
- Provide written proposals
- Communicate job details to project managers and crews. Oversee the details of all jobs sold.
- Ensure smooth roll-out for customer installs
- Maintain accurate records, including sales call reports, project management reports, expense reimbursement forms, and other documentation.
- Update company software systems
- Attend regularly scheduled conference calls, company meetings, and trade shows.
- Provide weekly sales reports
- Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner.

- Professional demeanor, selling style, and appearance.

- Previous cold calling experience.
- 3 years of direct work experience in an external sales capacity.
- Experience in outside sales, food service, facility services experience a plus
- Possess proven problem solving solutions for the customer and the company.
- Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies.
- Possess strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals.
- Effective organizational planning, communication, and superior time management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
- Frequent out of state travel is required
- Ability to travel to, attend, and conduct presentations
- Office environment and traveling to and from businesses
Minimum Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Access to reliable transportation to reach customer locations
