Sales Support Coordinator - Phelps Uniform Specialists : Job Details

TheSales Support Coordinatoris responsible for providing a positive customer experience for current and future customers by managing updates, finding opportunities for sales growth and processing all administrative tasks necessary to support the accounts and the sales team. This role specifically supports our Custom Image Wear department (hats, shirts, koozies, blankets, jackets, tumblers, promotional products, and much much more). This person will be the guru of everything detail when it comes to this division.HIGHLIGHTSOpportunity for commission - performance based pay incentives - WHOOP WHOOP!Work/Life Balance - 8:30am-5pm work hours!A supportive, encouraging, and positive manager (she's pretty funny too)opportunity to see the sales process through and beyond - you get to keep working with the customers after the sale and build upon that relationship!Enthusiastic work environmentThe product you're working with include popular brands!PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with the sales team to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and meet sales targetsUnderstand customer needs and identify sales opportunitiesDevelop meaningful relationship with customers over the phoneAssist in managing and maintaining customer accounts, including order processing, invoicing, quoting, and resolving customer inquiriesManage webstore accounts by following up with customers for seasonal changes and include suggestions on a quarterly basis for each accountCreate ideas and deals to appeal to current customersAnswer customer inquiries professionally and in a timely mannerReview pending orders and customer requests to ensure customer satisfactionNotify customer/salesperson when orders are complete and ready for pickup/deliveryProcess customer payments over the phone/email/in personFollows up with customers to make sure that they are satisfied with a particular productMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities in CRM and other systemsHelp with any customer complaints and resolve the issue as necessaryAssist in answering customer calls and directing to appropriate departmentDemonstrate basic knowledge of Phelps products, services, programs, promotional offers for Custom Image WearAssist with other minor office responsibilities and customer serviceSKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSExcited and eager to provide support to sales and customersPossess a strong attention to detailExceptional oral and written communication skills, including strong spelling, grammar, and punctuationExcellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and comfortable working independentlyMust be committed to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skillsProficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)REQUIREMENTS2+ years experience in a position with sales experience requiredHigh school diploma or general education degree required Some College preferredWORK ENVIRONMENTThere will be long periods of sittingThere will be periods of standing, lifting up to 25 lbs, walking, and bendingCOMPANY DESCRIPTIONPhelps the Uniform Specialists has been providing companies, large and small, with exceptional service for over two decades.
