Sales Support Coordinator - Phelps Uniform Specialists : Job Details

The Sales Support Coordinator is responsible for providing a positive customer experience for current and future customers by managing updates, finding opportunities for sales growth and processing all administrative tasks necessary to support the accounts and the sales team. This role specifically supports our Custom Image Wear department (hats, shirts, koozies, blankets, jackets, tumblers, promotional products, and much much more). This person will be the guru of everything detail when it comes to this division.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and meet sales targets
• Understand customer needs and identify sales opportunities
• Develop meaningful relationship with customers over the phone
• Assist in managing and maintaining customer accounts, including order processing, invoicing, quoting, and resolving customer inquiries
• Manage webstore accounts by following up with customers for seasonal changes and include suggestions on a quarterly basis for each account
• Create ideas and deals to appeal to current customers
• Answer customer inquiries professionally and in a timely manner
• Review pending orders and customer requests to ensure customer satisfaction
• Notify customer/salesperson when orders are complete and ready for pickup/delivery
• Process customer payments over the phone/email/in person
• Follows up with customers to make sure that they are satisfied with a particular product
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities in CRM and other systems
• Help with any customer complaints and resolve the issue as necessary
• Assist in answering customer calls and directing to appropriate department
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of Phelps products, services, programs, promotional offers for Custom Image Wear
• Assist with other minor office responsibilities and customer service

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Excited and eager to provide support to sales and customers
• Possess a strong attention to detail
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and comfortable working independently
• Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years experience in a position with sales experience required
• High school diploma or general education degree required Some College preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• There will be long periods of sitting
• There will be periods of standing, lifting up to 25 lbs, walking, and bending
