Clayton Services is searching for a Sales Manager to join a thriving company in the Woodlands, Texas. The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a team of sales executives in the telecommunications industry.
Job Type: Direct-Hire
Pay Rate: $75,000/base with OTE up to $150,000/annually.
Sales Manager Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of sales executives in the Houston market.
- Partner with the marketing team to create effective sales materials and collaborate with event leadership to support consumer-facing marketing efforts.
- Actively engage in field-based sales activities, including ride-alongs, client visits, and events, to provide on-the-ground guidance and support for the sales team.
- Drive sales expansion by leading, motivating, and coaching sales teams to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
- Establish individual and team sales goals, monitor weekly and monthly performance, and provide regular reviews with both the sales team and leadership.
- Conduct ongoing training sessions to enhance the sales team's product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Provide regular activity and sales performance updates to the Senior Director of Sales, including sourcing and producing recurring commission reports for approval.
- Regularly assess the performance of the sales team using Salesforce CRM data to track progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Handle complex and high-value sales opportunities directly, working in collaboration with leadership when necessary.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-driven team culture that encourages high performance and continuous improvement.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Salesforce CRM, and HubSpot.
Sales Manager Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
- Five (5) or more years of experience in leadership driving business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) teams.
- Telecom sales and leadership experience is highly desired.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in customer growth, revenue, and cash flow KPIs focusing on planning and execution.
- Experienced leadership skills and ability to set high-performance standards while leading team members' progression toward goals.
