DescriptionAs a Salesforce Architect, you will be expected to lead other Salesforce Architects/Leads to ensure technical excellence of the Salesforce Practice. The Salesforce Practice is rapidly growing and requires additional support to establish Salesforce development best practices, coordination with Executive and Technical Leadership, and support of new business opportunities. This role will be a combination of delivery and business development. Responsibilities
- Support Government clients in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. Metro Area
- Develop and spearhead the establishment of corporate-level Salesforce development best practices, ensuring they are robust, up-to-date, and in line with industry-leading standards
- Create and implement performance standards for assessing the work of Salesforce developers and administrators to promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the team
- Author and maintain practice-level documentation that clearly outlines the established development practices and performance criteria for Salesforce operations
- Conduct audits and technical reviews of Salesforce projects, identifying technical gaps and area for improvement
- Work on multiple projects and help establish and evaluate Salesforce Architecture.
- Identify and resolve integration challenges with other applications
- Hands-on coding experience, with a willingness to work with the technical team to resolve problems and provide mentorship to other Architects and Sr. Developers
- Provide SME expertise for design/architecture to support development
- Establish CI/CD Pipelines for Salesforce with various tools such as Copado
Requirements
- US citizen, Permanent Resident or lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline (relevant work experience may be considered a suitable replacement)
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience
- Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I and II and Salesforce Application Architect
- Previous experience with Service Cloud and Experience Cloud (Site/Communities)
- Expertise in APEX, Visualforce, and Lightning Experience
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines to support code SDLC and working knowledge of Salesforce DevSecOps tooling such Copado, SonarQube, Checkmarx or similar
- Proficient in Agile Methodologies and SDLC
- Able to effectively design solutions using Custom vs OOB in Salesforce design
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Force.com Platform
- Expertise in Data and Metadata Migration strategies
- Experience in designing the integration using middleware tools/Rest & Soap APIs
- Experience and knowledge of JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks and tools (e.g., Angular, jQuery)
- Strong leadership of technical teams including the ability to mentor and lead other senior technical personnel
- Experience creating system architecture, network, user/data flow diagrams etc. and articulate the technical architecture and tooling choices to business and technical stakeholders
- Effective client management with demonstrated success and client satisfaction
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in creating robust practice-wide best-practices and policy documentation
- Security Clearance: ability to obtain Public Trust level clearance
Preferred
- Previous Government contracting experience
- Salesforce Integration with Heroku
- MuleSoft or use of other Integration tools
- Experience with Public Sector Solutions is a plus
- Experience leading Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE) or Community of Practice (CoP)
