As a part of our production team, you'll work in a collaborative environment that allows you to see your work transform into a finished product every day.Job Summary Assembler III is responsible for producing samples for all customers following documented sample standard operating process. Also fabricating component parts or assembling the finished product according to the customer's specifications. Will assist with the most difficult builds for production. Secures and maintains correct component parts and supplies required for the operation.Principle Duties and ResponsibilitiesCompletes work area setupFits parts together in accordance with the prescribed manner and in accordance with quality standardsOperates equipment and tools as required to complete the assembly processPrevents and controls waste of raw materialConduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with standardsEnsures work area is safe, clean and organized, and that equipment is safe to operateCompletes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concernsMaintains a clean and orderly work environmentProvides basic TPM to equipment and completes TPM paperwork when requiredMaintains production records as requiredPerforms duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standardsParticipates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetingsPerforms other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma/GED preferred but not requiredMinimum 6 months of experience assembling components or specialty products is required 1 year of experience or more is preferred.Ability to read blueprints and produce samples from those blueprints is requiredDemonstrated ability to use hand tools such as a nail gun, skill saw, miter saw, drill and router requiredWorking knowledge of basic mathMay have certification in area of expertise including welding, etc.Must be at least 18 years of ageThe Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
